Watches in general have the primary function of telling time and that’s why most people buy whatever watch they can find that looks good for their style while others care about added features and durability, which of course, are more expensive. However, divers have special needs and they need a watch that can help keep track of the time elapsed during underwater sessions so they can resurface without problems. A Seiko divers watch could be an excellent choice since they are widely known for the style and overall quality of their watches.

Would people really know that they are making the right choice by choosing a Seiko divers watch instead of other dive watches from competing brands, because there is no doubt that there are a large number of dive watches which boast a lot of interesting features that are on the market today. Here is a detailed look at Seiko dive watches that may answer why they stand out above the rest.

Style

Well known for choosing materials that give any dive watch that stylish look and extra durability at the same time, most Seiko dive watches come complete with a stainless-steel casing and contain a Japanese style of finish. Most Seiko dive watches are made of scratch resistant Hardlex crystal which also keeps them looking good as new over the years.

A portion of the watches come with the ordinary black rubber strap while the others like the Seiko Men’s Automatic Dive Black Urethane Strap Watch  come in a more sophisticated and unique strap that is pressure vented. There are even some others that have a steel bracelet that makes the dive watch double as an ordinary watch that is great of every day wearing.

Features

Seiko dive watches must be legible underwater for them to be effective for deep diving. In addition to their easy to read unidirectional bezels, Seiko scuba watches also have luminous hands for better visibility of the time underwater. Although none of the Seiko watches are digital, some are still capable of displaying the date. Certain watches also have an inner rotating compass dial ring which divers can make use of.

Technology

Seiko dive watches are best known for their 21 jewel automatic self-winding Seiko movement. The Seiko 5 series bumped it up to 23 jewels, but what keeps Seiko ahead in terms of technology with their Seiko scuba watches is their Kinetic technology. Kinetic technology is another self-winding technology that doesn’t require any turning of the crown at all. Instead, it automatically wounds as long as the arm or wrist moves. In the later models, the same Kinetic technology is now used to power the rechargeable batteries. This will keep the time accurate for up to 4 years when fully charged making this a huge achievement for Seiko.

The Seiko dive watch is bursting with quality in all angles. For any diver willing to go down 100 or 200 meters deep should find any of the Seiko scuba watches perfect for them.

Alone, Confused and Scared, That’s how I met each new day. This is how so many of us meet the morning sun that signals the start of a new day. It was beginning to affect my ability to live and function as a human being. Anxiety striking again isn’t it, this persistent stress and anxiety over the smallest of issues, no one who we can talk to who would understand what we’re going through. Some one must know a way on “how to be anxiety free”.

For a really great awesome program on how to be anxiety free check out my review on the anxiety release method

At the beginning, I had no understanding of my anxiety disorder and its effects. The anxiety attacks would come from nowhere, or so I believed at the time. People who can understand they hit as you eat, while driving or doing the simplest of things like walking the dog.

What causes this, enough is enough, was always in my thoughts. My mind always asking, what is happening to me?. Your concern grows about, will there be another attack in a public space, can I avade going out. Anxiety attacks don’t only happen when a person is awake. They can, and often did happen while I was sleeping. If you don’t have anxiety, you cannot relate to this point.

We fight to survive each day, wanting desperately to find someone to talk to, some one who can help you understand what is happening to you. People just don’t like to talk about anxiety disorders. More importantly, they don’t want to admit they are a long time sufferers also.

How Do You Get On Top Of Anxiety?

Today, I’m quite different. I KNOW that I suffer from Anxiety Disorder. I have acknowledged I have a condition called Anxiety Disorder. Battling with over each week, into the following month and on into a year. It will possibly be a long battle but it is an achievable outcome. It’s now in my hands to seek and implement the remedial action I need to take.

From the beginning, you MUST understand this Anxiety attack for what it is and acknowledge when you are caught up in one. Accepting it has symptoms is the second step and the third step is knowing there is a cure for anxiety in most cases. The attacks all have a trigger that starts them and an end that although leaving one a little confused or anxious we are alive and able to go on.

The key to controlling an anxiety attack is in fact control. If you can lie down, if not sit or squat down so that if the attack upsets your balance you will not fall and hurt yourself. Now try to relax, close your eyes to cut out external influences that may be causing the anxiety.

We need to reduce the impact of the anxiety attack and the quickest way we can do this is to take control of our brain and stop the signals it is sending. Start thinking about only your breathing, which needs to be slow and deep, pausing for a few seconds as you stop breathing in and when you stop breathing out. Reduce your breathing rate to a slow long intake of air and just as long as you breath out. Shake the stiffness out.

The battle of the mind is the key to overcoming anxiety. Produce mental images in your brain, of you being in COMMAND of the situation. Keep yourself as busy as you can and let the thoughts of fear of an oncoming attack melt away. Practice this visualization so it becomes easy to project and you will see your control grow with each attack as each attack reduces in intensity and duration.

Never feel you have to deal with it on your own. Seek professional advise for assistance and support. Don’t feel stupid for having to call for assistance and support. Medications to control anxiety symptoms in the early stages, help in the mind game and allows quicker response development.

If you suffer from Anxiety, I commend you for making a choice to learn more about what it is. You need to know what to expect, the steps available in achieving a cure and the control you will need to instill in your mind. So I recommend to you that you look at gaining control through;

• Searching out your Trigger Points and what it is about them that affects you

• Understanding and directing your Self Talk

• Building support with loved ones and friends

• Facing each attack knowing it will not harm you

• Forcing uncomfortable situations on yourself

• Facing your fears and seeing them for what they aren’t

Self-belief in your self and accepting you have a disorder that has a cure will set you on the right path. Clearly understanding the task ahead will make it that much easier to get there. To achieve you life goals you must accept the disorder and develop skills to control the disability.

If you are suffering with Anxiety then you may want to check out the anxiety video coaching program

As a sufferer of an anxiety disorder you earn my respect and admiration in your struggle for a cure. Build your belief in yourself and educate yourself on all the aspects of this disorder. Believe in yourself as you go forward!.

Understand the condition you have, learn about the different medications that can support your defeating this disorder, (but don’t let them become a crutch). Understand your fears and learn how unfounded they are by challenging them.

Do this and you will learn “How To Be Anxiety Free”.

Does anyone know of any way to help yourself with depression? Every site I go to recommends therapy the first thing. For reasons too complicated to go into, seeking professional therapy is not an option for me. I don't really think it is a problem that can be treated with medications, because from what I understand anti-depressants seem to work because of chemical imbalances in the brain. I really think mine is due to circumstances in my life that occurred 5 or 6 years ago. Every day is just like the very first day that these things happened and I am at the point now that I am almost paralyzed with these things. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but if profession counseling or therapy is the first and only thing that you can recommend, please don't bother responding. If anyone else has helped theirself on their own, please try to help me.

It's fine that you don't want to go to a therapist. Personally, I wouldn't want to either; it's hard for me to open up to someone I don't know very well. Here's some things that really helped me get through depression:
-Eat right, drink water, get your sleep, and EXERCISE!! (exercising releases chemicals that are natural anti-depressants)
-Keep a diary. (I've had one since I was 7 years old but when I went through depression it was so helpful to have something to just pour your emotions into)
-Go outside (whether you want to just spend some time with your garden or at the mall, get outside your house. You can either go alone or with friends, but I'd say it'd be easier if you do a 50/50 kind of thing with that)
-Listen to up-beat music (If you like heavy metal like I do, DON'T LISTEN TO IT (until you get over your depression). Listen to the most up-beat music you can get. Depression is hard enough getting through; you don't need to listen to someone else's depression)
-Love yourself (this was possibly the hardest step I had to go through. It's impossible to get through depression if you don't love and respect yourself)
-Get help (You don't necessarily have to go to therapy, but it helps so much talking to a close friend or family member. If you don't think you want to talk to them about your problems, get a pet cat or dog. They're scientifically proven to help you feel better about life..as long as they don't make messes and such >_<)
-Move on (I know this is hard, but just say to yourself 'This was then, this is now'. Our past is something for us to learn from and to maybe have some good memories from, NOT to cry over)
-Think positive (Life may not be fair, but it's a joy to have. And remember, if you THINK positive, YOU will be positive and so will your life.)
-Cry (if you're sad, don't hold it in! If you're mad, go ahead a punch a pillow or take a few deep breaths. Just make sure to let all your emotions out in a healthy way; letting it out in an unhealthy way can make things complicated and possibly even worse then before.)
-Do things you love (Keep yourself happy :D )

Medication didn't really help me, but it wouldn't hurt for you to help! I hope you get better and be happy! Life's too short to live otherwise.

P/S: Here's an up-beat song that always had me smiling and dancing

i can't ask anyone for help cause talking to anyone at all even if it's not something important makes me so nervous that i cant do it, so i have to get over it by myself, only i don't know what to do.
talking on the phone is worse that talking to people in person. anyhow, i CAN'T tell anyone about it. i can't even order pizza because it makes me too nervous, do you really think i can call some suicide hotline and talk to a total stranger about how i feel when i can't even tell them what i want on my pizza?

hey, i know it is intimidating to tell people all about yourself and what you are going through, you do need to see someone though and i think you know that. Explain to a counsellor how you feel about talking. It is often too hard to explain some of the emotions we have in words. A number of counsellors are willing to hand you a piece of paper and a pen and let you"talk " your feelings out that way, this might help you. Find someone you feel you can trust and ask them if they would be willing to do this with you. it seems that you are fine at expressing your feelings by written word because you have done it here, so give that a go with a counsellor .
