Marriage has the description of being the sacred union.  As it should be.Because when the new married couple says “I do” what they are saying is they will be together till death do them part.  Even through bad times, like sickness and poorer.

You will notice the health and richer part I left out.  Because often times, those times are the easy.

But whatever the situation, if you are having marriage troubles, keeping the marriage healthy and happy does become a struggle.  It is during this time a family therapist San Diego might be the best option.

Because if the issues start to become a pattern, this will more often than not lead to divorce.Problems such as constant arguing, loss of trust, no intimacy, despising one another, etc.

Several factors starting with safety.  A good therapist is able to provide the troubled couple with an environment that a couple can feel safe in.An environment that is different from where all the fights happen.

This prevents the usual angry or hysterical outbursts that occur in a familiar environment.

Second, as we told you earlier, this is not something new to them.  This allows the therapist to share whether or not what the couple is going through is normal.

Third, they can help with communications.  Often times that is one of the contributing factors in troubled marriages.  When trouble happens, each person usually becomes defensive and the line of communication becomes difficult.  The therapist can help open those lines.

Fouth, the couples will be helped to better use problem solving skills.  Obviously, there are problems.  And the more equipped the couple is, the better they will be able to solve their issues.

Finally, they help the couples understand the situation.  They do this through helping them in listening, sharing feelings that may be difficult to express, and then interpret it all.

The very short answer is that they are not a very nice experience at all. As you are reading this then you have no doubt suffered some sort of panic attack so you will know only too well how disturbing they are. One way of trying to explain what a panic attack is really like is to try to imagine what it would be like if the world was closing in on you.

Panic attacks may only strike once or fairly infrequently, but on the other hand, they may be a regular event. Regardless of how frequently they occur, they are very disconcerting when they do attack. Needless to say it is imperative to seek a remedy as early as you can.

Panic attacks more often than not come on suddenly in the form of intense anxiety. You become fearful, nervy and feel very unwell and uncomfortable. Panic attack symptoms are many and varied — with these symptoms depending on both your physiology and mindset.

While you are having a panic attack, your body releases adrenaline because you mistakenly believe that you are going to be harmed in some way. In all probability you feel very scared and upset. Unfortunately, there is no time limit for these panic attacks. For example, they can be over very quickly or they can be quite prolonged.

During a panic attack, sufferers mistakenly think they should get themselves off to hospital. Panic attack sufferers often feel that they are actually suffering a heart attack. Although of no consolation at the time of your panic attack, the better news is that a panic attack cannot truly hurt you. The downside is obviously that you feel like your body is under attack and you are in danger.

There is no single reason why panic attacks happen. On occasions it is found to be hereditary, as sufferers inherit the symptoms of their peers. If somebody else in your family suffers panic attacks, the chances of you getting them increase. There are also illnesses that can cause the instance of panic attacks to increase in certain groups of people. An example of this is post traumatic stress disorder. Even hyperthyroidism can cause panic attacks!

Apart from the biological reasons, panic attacks can be as a result of previous bad experience in your life. Possibly some unpleasant experience scared you from years ago, and as a result made you apprehensive in certain situations.

Panic attacks can also occur as a side effect of certain medications. Ritalin is one drug that can lead to panic attacks in some people. The SSRI group of antidepressants have been known to increase anxiety.

Finding out what may be causing your panic attacks is one of the first steps you should take in coming to terms with how to cope with them. There are no two ways about it – panic attacks can be devastating and interfere with almost every aspect of your normal, everyday life. You can get the better of this illness. One of the most important things to remember is that you are not alone and there are ways in which you can cure your panic attack problems. By taking action today, you can start to lead a normal life again.

Most of us deal with anxiety in our lives because it is a normal human emotion.There is a pretty good chance that you may feel nervous when you need to solve a difficult situation, or before you get on a plane. The Linden Method is the result of Charles Linden’s research that involved many other former anxiety sufferers and what they did to overcome their anxiety disorder.  He discovered that many of these individuals all had similar stories to tell and it was from these similarities that The Linden Method was developed.

Charles discovered that all anxiety disorders have one thing in common and that is they are all caused by the amygdala.  The amygdala is a small organ in the brain that reacts like a switch that can either turn anxiety on or off.  People experience anxiety disorders as the results of the amygdala switching itself on and getting stuck.  The reason why The Linden Method works is because it teaches techniques that result in the amygdala switching itself off.  This is the root cause of all anxiety disorders.  So many other anxiety treatments fail all for the same reason that they ignore the root cause that is behind the anxiety.    This is the reason for The Linden Methods incredibly high success rate of 96%.

The Linden Method does not involve the usage of any prescription drugs as these simply suppress symptoms instead of resolving the root cause of the problem.  You will be encouraged early on in the program if you are on medication that you don’t need your medicine to get better.  Medication suppresses anxious thoughts and emotions but you need to learn to control your anxiety levels for yourself.  There can be no permanent cure for anxiety whilst you try to artificially control how you feel with chemicals.  I was glad that this topic was covered early in the course as I had suffered severe side effects to drugs and know from my own experience that no lasting good can come from them.

Although you may find other anxiety therapies helpful, The Linden Method recommends that you don’t continue to use them as they can distract you.  You can’t try one therapy one day and then something else the next.  You need to stick to something and not get distracted.  The Linden Method success speaks for itself and that you should give you the encouragement to stick with it until you get results.  If it doesn’t work the first time you try it you need to persevere with it instead of being distracted by some other method.  You will just end up using other people’s remedies and methods as a crutch instead of being completely responsible for your own recovery.

The Linden Method may be challenging for you as you will be asked not to rely on anybody else for their comfort and reassurances.  Friends and family can impede your recovery if you continue to rely on them for support.  For this reason Charles’s wife Elizabeth has written a great chapter on how your partner can best help you without impeding your recovery. 

The Linden Method will teach you about diversion which is a technique that you can use to divert your attention away from your anxiety and can prevent a panic attack.  Information about Diet and how it affects anxiety is included.  By making changes to your diet can reduce your anxiety levels.

When you consider how different your life is going to be once you have overcome your panic and anxiety the price of The Linden Method seem a very small price to pay.  The Linden Method manual is over 250 pages in length.  Included in the package are videos and audio recordings of interviews with Charles, relaxation and breathing techniques and meditations.

My own experience with The Linden Method has been extremely positive and I highly recommend it to anybody who is struggling to overcome panic or anxiety.

So do you really want to learn to love yourself?

Are you full of self loathing, negativity or even self repulsion? Do you wish you had someone elses life? Do you wish parts of your personality were different? Or that you are “capable” of more? Whatever your issue is, if you don’t truly love yourself for who you areyou will hold yourself back and make things even worse – you will spirla even further down.

Are you familiar with the saying “You need to love yourself before you are able love anyone else”? What happens if you fall in love but you love yourself less than your partner loves you? It created a void, and you become a drain not only on yourself, but on your partner too.

Loving yourself is absolutely if you really want to achieve success in any area of your life; whether it is at home, professionally, or in your personal relationships with friends and loved ones.

One life is all you get, you get one life and you need to live it and get the most from it. Any time spent self pitying or wishing you were different is useless. Not only useless it is purely counter productive. While you are wishing you were different you be proactive and making steps to improve yourself!

You have to learn to love yourself completely unconditionally. This doesn’t mean you have to be perfect, but just that you recognize your personality and good qualities and you have something to build on. Nobody is perfect and anyone who says so is putting on an act.

You must love yourself just for who you are – no more, no less. However imperfect you are you can improve and have the potential to achieve success and have an enjoyable life – you are the master of your destiny. The problem lies within your mind, and you have the power to change how you feel about yourself. Here are some siple things you can do straight away:

  • Make a list of your positives and ignore your negative character traits.
  • Make a list of characteristics people like about you.
  • Smile more often – keep remembering to smile, it is a basic stimulus for a positive attitude and will lift your mood in itself.
  • Treat Yourself – you deserve it. Stop being mean to yourself and depriving yourself of more enjoyment.
  • Use Positive Affirmations: I am a lovable person, I love myself , I love my life etc.
